Other sources describe interceptions, debris and limited damage rather than confirmed destruction of strategic systems. The United States and Bahrain have strong incentives to downplay damage. Iran has strong incentives to exaggerate it. Open-source analysts may help clarify the picture, but they can also amplify unverified battlefield claims before the evidence is solid.
